The results of some researches on the flora of Rize and Çamlıhemşin are given below.
Rize Flora, Vegetation and Pollen Analysis of Local Honey, Tübitak Project No: TBAG-650, Prof.Dr. Adil Güner et al. 1987: A total of 1430 flora (plant) varieties were identified in the research.
